Transplanter
The Transplanter is used to plant bare root vegetables and tobacco seedlings. These are placed in the machine's rubber grippers which gently hold them in place
while the machine is not in motion. The machine's movement causes these grippers to plant the seedlings at a standard distance and depth. This improves chances
of successful transplantation which in turn could lead to reduced seedling wastage, increased plant count per acre, and a higher production yield.
The machine can be adjusted to attain a plant spacing distance between 14 and 51 centimeters. Each of the machine's rows can plant 1,800 to 2,000 plants per hour.
The machine is manufactured in Turkey by Fimaks Makina A.s. and meets strict
Conformité Européene standards (also known as
CE).
